About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - PCU Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse (Compact) Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), CRRT experience Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of nursing experience - Current RN license and required certifications Description: Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Monitor and assess critically ill patients continuously using advanced medical equipment. Administer medications, fluids, and treatments accurately and timely according to physician orders. Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient status, treatments, and nursing interventions. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families. Follow strict infection control protocols to minimize the risk of infection. Participate in continuing education and training to maintain clinical skills and stay current with practices. Willing to precept new staff members.
