Unit Clerk
The Unit Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties relating to the updating and organization of information on the unit as well as directing the flow of communication within the department and between other units and departments.
Licensure and Certification
- Current BLS provider card
Education
- High School graduate, GED or equivalent.
- Medical terminology course completion preferred
Experience
- Previous experience in comparable position highly desired
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Proficient reading, writing, grammar and math skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Basic computer skills
