Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Float Pool position is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in both Labor & Delivery (LDR) and the Antenatal Care Unit (ACU). This role requires adaptability and the ability to float between units as needed, ensuring comprehensive care for mothers and their infants.

Schedule

This position requires working night shifts, totaling 32 hours per week with an expectation of every weekend. The role involves 8-hour shifts and is a flex position primarily focused on nighttime duties.

Contract Dates

• Start Date: 11/02/2026
• End Date: 01/02/2027

Work Requirements

• Week 1: 36 hours
• Week 2: 36 hours
• Week 3: 24 hours
• Holidays: Availability required without exceptions
• Time off requests: Preference given to candidates without requests

Clinical Requirements

• Active RN license (or compact license, if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Certification in fetal monitoring (mandatory for LDR)
• Minimum of 12 years recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, or High-Risk Obstetrics
• Adaptability in float pool or multi-unit settings is preferred

• Flu vaccine is required; no exemptions.
• COVID-19 vaccine is required; no exemptions.
