You would be working with adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that live in their own homes. Caregiving experience helpful but not necessary! We provide 75 hours of paid training by experienced staff.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting individuals with their personal care- bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting/personal hygieneDaily tasks include light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping the home comfortable and safePlan meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving meals/snacksAccompany individuals to scheduled medical appointmentsAccompany individuals on fun community activities (movies, swimming, bowling, trips to the beach, shopping at the mall, etc.)Assist individuals with self-administration of medicationsDocument services provided using computerBenefits$20.50/hourKnow your schedule for the month-easy to plan work/life balancePT Day shift 18-24 hours/weekFT Day shift 24-32 hrs/weekWork a 2 day on/2day off/every other weekend shift(We pay for your training and pay you when you are getting trained (NAR certification reimbursed after 4 months)Medical/Dental/Vision/HSA/life insurance benefits after 60 days (must work avg of 30 hours/week)401K with matching after 1 year if benefit eligibleOpportunities for advancement (Lead DSP, Supervisor, House Manager)Employee bonuses, events for our employees include picnics and parties, Backpack for School, Trunk or Treat, gift cards, etc.Great opportunity beginning your career path with excellent training!QualificationsRequirements:Be at least 18 Years or olderBe able to pass a Washington State Criminal Background Check and complete fingerprints by hire dateBe able to provide high school diploma or high school transcript or GEDBe able to lift up to 50 lbs, twist, turn, sit, stand for periods of time, see and hear our individualsHave excellent written and verbal communication skillsHave basic computer skillsHave good problem solving skills working as a teamWilling to pay for NAR certification ($85-options for paycheck deduction available)
