Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Cardiac Cath Lab/EP to provide high-quality patient care. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment requiring strong clinical skills and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and prepare them for procedures in the cath lab setting.
• Administer emergency medications and manage patient monitoring during interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all procedures and patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to facility policies including scheduling, patient safety, and infection control protocols.
• Support patient education regarding procedures and post-care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of experience in Cath Lab/EP.
• Demonstrate proficiency with GE X-ray equipment and Maclab, Meditech documentation systems.
• Possess advanced skills in emergency medication administration and cardiac procedures.
• Have current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work rotating weekends and holidays.
