Legal Assistant - Personal Injury Pre-Litigation

The Opportunity As our Legal Assistant in our Personal Injury Pre-Litigation department, you will have the opportunity to assist our Paralegals and Attorneys in progressing our wrongful death, TBI, catastrophic injury, and major orthopedic cases through pre-litigation. This position can be based in downtown Los Angeles or Torrance. Accountable for- Prepare documents for filing.
- Draft complaints and minors compromises.
- Understand and monitor court deadlines and statute of limitations.
- Communicate with clients in an effective and courteous manner.
- Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- 1+ year(s) of experience drafting complaints.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
- Detail oriented.
- Experience working in Personal Injury law a huge plus.
- Type at least 40 WPM.
- $22-26 per hour ($45,000 - $54,000) depending on experience, plus performance-based incentives.
