We're looking for a full-time Line Cook who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working closely with a team, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. If you love great food, appreciate the rhythm of a busy kitchen, and find joy in helping to create unique and delicious dishes, you'll feel right at home here.
The Lenox is home to three distinct restaurant outlets, and banquet and meeting space:
Sweeney's on Boylston. A lively neighborhood favorite serving authentic Irish classics and Lenox staples. Always spirited, always welcoming.
The Irving at The Lenox. An intimate lobby cocktail bar with turn-of-the-century charm, known for beautifully crafted cocktails and a sense of intrigue.
Willow & Ivy. Led by Executive Chef Daniel Kenney, Willow & Ivy offers a fresh, refined take on New Englandinspired American cuisine in a reimagined, inviting space.
What you'll do:
- Prep ingredients and stations for a successful service
- Prepare dishes to standards, consistently and beautifully
- Maintain a clean and organized station and adhere to food safety standards
- Be a team player by communicating, coordinating and assisting fellow chefs
What we're looking for:
- At least 2 years of cooking experience in a fine dining, high-volume kitchen
- Specific experience cooking meats with temperatures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in a wide range of techniques, cuisines and kitchen equipment
- Shifts will consist of 3 evenings and 2 overnight shifts
- Multi-lingual a plus
