Painter - 2nd Shift

Painter - 2nd Shift Job Duties Hang parts with assistance of a lift truck or hoist (as necessary) and paint parts according to the production travelers. Use lift truck to move material and completed parts to proper locations. Perform daily lift truck and hoist pre-operational safety checks. Perform pre and post check of all parts for defects. Note any missing parts for expediting. Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment as needed. Fit and adjust Personal PPE for proper alignment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas (5S). Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must be able to read drawings and blueprints, understand basic math, and problem solve. Must be able to read, understand drawings and production order travelers. Must be able to listen, communicate and understand verbal and written instructions. Understand basic math (including decimals), including decimals. Must be able to demonstrate mechanical abilities and aptitude. Must be able to remember, reason and analyze. Moderate levels of social interaction. Perform same basic tasks every day and follow well established procedures. Work according to daily standard instructions. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Per 8 hr. shift (stand/walk 8 hrs.,) frequently (climb stairs, climb to step into lift trucks, work with arms outstretched, work above chest level), occasionally (bend/stoop/twist, squat/kneel/crawl, reach below knee level). Continual lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling (Continually from 0 to 35 lbs., occasionally from 36-40 lbs., infrequently from 41-50 lbs.). Must be able to see hear, write, talk, balance, have good binocular vision and be able to distinguish colors. Must be able to do simple and firm grasping with both hands. Must be able to pass a respiratory test and be able to wear a half mask respirator. Must be able to work in a noisy environment that includes exposure to dust, heat, vibrations, grease, oil, paints, solvents, and spray by products. Must be able to safely operate lift trucks and safely work in areas of lift truck traffic. Required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operate machines such as lathes, drill presses, power saws, and mills, where the seeing job is at or within arm’s reach; performs mechanical or skilled trade tasks of a non-repetitive nature such as carpenter, technicians, service people, plumbers, painters, mechanics, etc. Preferred Qualifications None listed Work Authorization: Crown will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
