Salary:

No degree - $10 per hour
Associate's degree - $12 per hour
Bachelor's degree - $15 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides intrusive academic and tutorial support in designated courses to participants through one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions.
• Provides mentoring and motivational support to participants.
• Assists participants with developing the essential study skills for academic success.
• Learning sessions may be held virtually at the Academic Success Center or an on-campus location designated by the Associate Director for Academic Success.
• Maintains accurate records of learning sessions.
• Serves as a role model for all students seeking academic assistance.
• Be punctual for all scheduled learning sessions.
• Prepares supplemental materials.
• Helps procure and organize teaching materials.
• Attends tutor training sessions regularly and scheduled staff meetings.
• Performs any other related duties as required or assigned to achieve project goals and objectives.

Required Education :
• At least 2 years of undergraduate studies. Must attach a copy of transcript(s).

Required Experience :
• Must have earned a B or higher in the subject(s) to work in.
• Must have completed at least 2 years of undergraduate study.

Preferred Education :
• Associate or advanced degree

Preferred Experience :
• Tutoring and/or teaching experience.

Passing pre-employment criminal background screen is required as a condition of employment.
