Overview
We are seeking a professional and experienced CDL A Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating tractor-trailers between Duncan, SC and Spartanburg, SC. At times, other destinations may be added. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations; should be comfortable with 10-speed manual transmission and skilled in load & unload operations, route driving, and handling freight efficiently. Responsibilities

· Transport Goods: Safely operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and box trucks, to deliver products to designated locations.

· Vehicle Inspections: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition and report any maintenance issues promptly.

· Route Planning: Plan efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel efficiency and minimizing downtime.

· Cargo Handling: Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured to prevent damage during transit.

· Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of trips, including driver logs, mileage, and delivery receipts, in compliance with federal regulations.

· Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients, providing updates on delivery status and addressing any concerns or delays.

· Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, including hours-of-service requirements, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

· During slow periods for delivery, the driver will support operations on plant floor; such as, loading/unloading, 5S, etc.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and freight delivery
• Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred
• Must have a valid DOT med card
• Prior experience in load & unload operations required or preferred
• Ability to operate forklift equipment is a plus
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to trucking and freight handling is essential
