Job Description The Department of Dermatology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine seeks to recruit a candidate for a full‑time position in general medical dermatology. The successful candidate will join our Department of Dermatology and provide patient care and education within our residency training program. Primary responsibilities include: Practicing general dermatology and non‑Mohs surgical dermatology. Consulting on inpatient dermatology and managing complex medical dermatology cases. Providing dermatologic care for skin of color. Teaching and mentoring residents as part of the residency training program. Preferred qualifications: dual interest in clinical practice and resident education. Board certified or eligible. Qualifications Medical Doctor (MD). Board Certified in Dermatology or eligible for certification. Strong interest in general and non‑Mohs surgical dermatology. Commitment to resident education and patient care. Rank and Salary Expected rank is Assistant Professor/Associate Professor, with rank and tenure status dependent on candidate qualifications. Salary range for Assistant Professors: $284,466 (minimum)–$569,296 (maximum). The salary range reflects base pay and does not include other components of the compensation program or variable compensation programs. Actual compensation may vary.
