Certifications:

• BLS.

Mandatory Experience:

• 0.1 PRN ED RN (*must have good ER experience)
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• Previous experience in a clinical nurse setting preferred.
• Previous experience in a hospital preferred.
• CREDENTIALS
• Must have a current, valid RN license from the State of Wyoming and must be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Must have current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 60 days of hire and maintain credentials throughout employment with IMH.
• Must have current, valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six (6) months of hire and must maintain throughout employment with IMH.
• Must have current, valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six (6) months of hire and must maintain throughout employment with IMH.
• Must certify in a de-escalation program as approved by IMH within the first six (6) months of hire and must maintain certification throughout employment with IMH.
• Must complete procedural sedation module within six (6) months of hire and every two (2) years thereafter throughout employment with IMH.
• Must obtain TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) within six (6) months of hire and must maintain throughout employment with IMH. ENPC (Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course) or ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses) is highly recommended.
• Must have current, valid Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification or must obtain certification within six (6) months of hire. NRP certification must be maintained throughout employment at Ivinson Memorial Hospital.
• Must receive QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) training within one (1) year of hire.
