About the Role:

An established manufacturing company is looking for a motivated Pump Mechanic Trainee to join our growing team in Midland, TX! This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your career in the pump and mechanical services industry, learning hands-on from experienced professionals in the heart of the Permian Basin.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the maintenance of pump machinery, including inspecting pumps, ensuring they are in working order, troubleshooting,m and other hands-on maintenance and repair work
• Working knowledge of pumps, small engines, changing oil, and servicing rental equipment
• Exhibit teamwork and excellent communication skills
• Support field service calls and on-site pump inspections across customer locations
• Repair, fabricate, install, and remove a variety of pumps as well as other related equipment
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures on job sites and in the shop
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 2 years of mechanical experience
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver's license 
• Working together in a team environment
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required
• Ability to lift 25 to 50 lbs
• Bilingual a plus
