Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations within a clinic setting. This is a patient-facing role responsible for assisting pharmacists with prescription processing, inventory management, customer service, and administrative duties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional service in a healthcare environment. This is a part-time opportunity with the potential for additional hours as business needs grow and to provide coverage for team members as needed. Responsibilities Retrieve, count, measure, and prepare medications under the supervision of a pharmacist Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and refill requests Input, update, and retrieve prescription information using pharmacy systems Support inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications and supplies Provide customer service and assist patients with pharmacy-related inquiries Refer physician calls, clinical questions, and medication-related concerns to the pharmacist Process transactions and operate a cash register when needed Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation Collaborate with clinic staff and healthcare providers to support patient care Follow established pharmacy procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements Required Qualifications Active Pharmacy Technician license/certification in the applicable state 2-3 years of pharmacy technician or related healthcare experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent customer service and communication skills Basic computer proficiency and experience working with pharmacy or healthcare systems Ability to work independently within established guidelines Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to complete required Tuberculosis (TB) screening for patient-facing healthcare roles Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a retail, clinic, or outpatient pharmacy setting Experience with inventory management and medication ordering Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and prescription processing software Experience interacting directly with patients in a healthcare environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
