Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to provide expert care for critically ill patients in a hospital setting. The nurse will deliver personalized, evidence-based nursing interventions to promote patient recovery and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions continuously and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, monitoring for adverse reactions and documenting responses.
• Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care, medication management, and health maintenance strategies.
• Record vital signs and medical information precisely, and interpret diagnostic test results to inform care decisions.
• Prepare and maintain medical equipment, assisting physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, including cardiac monitors, ventilators, and infusion devices, ensuring optimal functionality.

Qualifications:

• Hold current, valid nurse licensure within the state of practice or nurse licensure compact.
• Possess BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrate recent critical care experience in a hospital environment.
• Verify demographic data via Nursys e-Notify, including suicide training if on a compact license.
• Provide proof of right-to-work authorization in the United States.
