Job Summary As a Medical Technologist you will be responsible for performing testing on body fluids and exudates to provide information used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. You will perform daily quality control, daily and scheduled preventive maintenance on all instruments, and manage supply inventory and storage. Efficient performance of these duties directly enhances patient treatment and recovery. Position type: Full‑time nights and rotating weekend shift. Location: HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital. Responsibilities Perform testing on body fluids and exudates. Carry out daily quality control checks and scheduled preventive maintenance on laboratory instruments. Maintain supply inventory and storage. Qualifications Must be currently certified as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist by ASCP or AMT. Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related biological science. One-year clinical experience preferred.
