As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic automotive location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor alarm and access systems, and support a welcoming experience for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional communication and customer service. A valid driver’s license is required. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, vendors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at an automotive retail location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Control vehicle, pedestrian, and vendor access to designated areas, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, vehicle inventory areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
