Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $1,990 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days (8 am – 5 pm) Employment Type: Travel Location: Issaquah, WA 98027 Duties and Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of patient care for all patients on personal caseload. Report billing information for Speech Therapy for all patients on caseload. Provide direct patient care as prescribed, including evaluation and treatment planning. Report and interpret treatment results. Participate in developing and presenting in‑services for the facility as requested. Supervise support personnel in immediate work areas as appropriate. Perform clinical functions: screenings, evaluations, development of treatment plans, and delivery of treatment in accordance with facility, Medicare, and Therapy Management Corporation policies and procedures. Participate in meetings regarding patient care as appropriate. Assist where appropriate with any community education and public‑relations activities of the facility. Provide education to patients’ families as well as staff on specific treatment plans and therapy goals. Coordinate and cooperate with other staff members to implement treatment plans. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology. Certification in accordance with American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association requirements. Licensed by the state in the designated geographic area. Ability to perform tasks without posing a threat to health or safety, including lifting, turning, moving, and transporting patients. Ability to perform a minimum of minimal‑assist transfers (lift and control 50 lbs).
