If you have a desire for working in a great facility and you are an experienced Maintenance Tech, we want to hear from you!Essential Job FunctionsSet up and take down of rooms for meetings and events as needed.Perform regular maintenance tasks by routine and work orderMaintain outdoor area of campus as pertain to cleanliness and readiness for guestLimited grounds maintenanceHousekeeping responsibilities as neededBasic electrical work, plumbing work carpentry projects, painting projectsOther duties as assignedPosition RequirementsFacility maintenance experienceFacility housekeeping experienceBasic knowledge in plumbing, electrical, carpentryKnowledge of proper and safe use of tools and equipmentProfessional appearance and attitudeAttention to detail and keen observationAbility to read, write and speak EnglishValid Florida Driver LicensePhysical RequirementsLifting, pushing and pulling in excess of 50 pounds using proper body mechanics and/or available equipment as physically required for extended periods of time.Be able to walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl and reach for extended periods of timeMust be capable of work at heights, sometimes above 10 feet.Must be capable of accessing small and confined spacesWork is performed both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions typical for Florida environment.Reporting RelationshipsPosition reports directly to the Director of Facilities OperationsNo supervision of employees is required.What we can offer youA work environment that recognizes and rewards excellent in staff and volunteers.
