Pain & Spine Physician

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician‑led, multi‑specialty group practice with 500+ providers. We are seeking a full‑time physician to join the SAMG Comprehensive Pain & Spine Service at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. The successful candidate will practice within Boise and be responsible for all aspects of the traditional Comprehensive Pain & Spine clinic, as well as associated in‑clinic and in‑hospital interventional pain and spine procedures. The candidate must commit to a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care. Medical management of patients is a component of the practice. The ideal candidate is either anesthesiology or physiatry trained with an interventional spine fellowship. Supporting Team The physician will work alongside an Inpatient Pain APP team; the Level II Trauma Center; the ED; two APPs; clinical psychology; PM&R; and staff in the Boise Clinic, in‑suite procedure room, and across the health‑system network. Required Credentials Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) Successful completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program and board certification through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA), or such certification within three years of employment, OR completion of an accredited physiatry residency program and board certification through the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (ABP) within three years of employment, and Completion of an interventional spine fellowship Valid controlled‑substance registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and the DEA Two years’ experience preferred Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC–Boise and other affiliated hospitals as needed Benefits & Compensation Sign‑on incentives Student loan repayment Relocation assistance Paid time off & CME allocation Malpractice insurance (including tail coverage) Health, dental, and vision coverage Retirement (403(b)) #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential
