Infection Prevention Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, a leading provider of healthcare services, as an Infection Prevention Coordinator. Job Summary The Infection Preventionist promotes and delivers high quality, patient-centered care by assisting with the administration of Infection Prevention policies, procedures and programs. The role includes identifying, investigating, reporting and monitoring the incidence of nosocomial infections among patients and personnel, implementing policies and procedures to prevent cross-contamination, assisting with inservice programs related to infection prevention and infection control, and supporting the clinical aspects of the Employee Health Program, including pre-employment processing, occupational health testing and surveillance.
