- Level III Trauma Center
- 250-bed regional medical center
- Approximately 33,000 annual Emergency Department visits
- Average daily ED volume of 77 patients
- Less than 3% patient transfer rate
- Peak patient volume occurs between 11:00 AM 11:00 PM
Practice Environment
- Physician-only Emergency Department coverage
- Day shifts staffed by 1 2 Emergency Medicine Physicians
- Night shifts staffed by 1 Emergency Medicine Physician
- Additional support from 1 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Physician supervision of APPs required
- No inpatient responsibilities
- No outreach clinic requirements
- EMR: Epic
Ideal Candidate
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Comfortable practicing in a moderate-volume community emergency department
- Experienced supervising and collaborating with Advanced Practice Providers
- Strong commitment to quality patient care and teamwork
