What You'll Do

• Provide anesthesia care for pediatric cardiac procedures, including bypass surgeries, catheterizations, and imaging studies
• Support neonatal and infant cardiac cases, neonatal ECMO, mediastinal exploration, and related interventions
• Collaborate with the Core Cardiac Team on high-risk and complex cases
• Assess and manage anesthesia for pediatric patients aged 18+ presenting for cardiac and non-cardiac procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, logs, and documentation for the last 12 months of cases
• Participate in quality, process improvement, and program development initiatives

What You Need

• Requires WA medical license and board-certified or eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology
• Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia or equivalent training strongly preferred; will consider substantial pediatric cardiac anesthesia experience without fellowship on a case-by-case basis
• Prior experience with neonatal and infant cardiac surgery highly desirable
• Ability to work independently in a solo model without support staff (no CRNAs)
• Experience with cardiac bypass, neonatal, and complex congenital procedures required
• Strong communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills
