The UPS Store 7813 is seeking a Part-time Center Associate who is passionate about providing an excellent customer experience with a background in Sales and/or Customer Services.

Qualifications

Required :

18 years of age or older.

Eligible to work in the United States.

1-3 years Sales and/or Customer Service-related experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and/or weekends. Hours of operations: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 7:30 pm, Saturday 9 am - 6 pm, Sunday 10am - 5:30 pm

Must be able to engage and speak with customers to understand their needs.

Ability to lift/move items 50+ lbs.

Ability to climb step stools and ladders.

Ability to stand and walk through out the shift.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Preferred :

Bi-lingual Spanish.

Experience operating a photocopier, fax machine, laminator, binder and other office equipment.

Experience in mail or printing environment.

Experience in operating large-scale print jobs.

Experience using graphic design software, for example Illustrator, Publisher, Photoshop

Current New Jersey Notaries Public are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service in person, via email and telephone.

Ask thoughtful questions to fully grasp customer's needs.

Respond quickly and resourcefully to customer requests and concerns.

Suggest products and services to meet customer needs.

Create a positive and inviting environment for customers.

Apply sales and customer service skills to engage and present solutions to customers.

Completing projects requiring printing, copying, binding, laminating, notarizing, etc.

General maintenance of cleanliness of customer facing and shared employee spaces.

Other duties as assigned.

Notary Requirement: Applicants who are not currently commissioned as a New Jersey Notary Public must obtain their notary commission within two (2) weeks of hire.
