Server Position at Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington HotelThe Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel is seeking a creative, skilled, guest-focused Server for AM Breakfast and evening shifts as needed to join its fun-spirited team!Hotel Property Overview: The Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel is an upscale Marriott property located in Bloomington, Minnesota, conveniently situated near the Mall of America, Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport, and major Twin Cities attractions. The hotel features 253 guest rooms, on-site dining at LARS Restaurant & Bar, an indoor Junior Olympic-sized pool, a fitness center, and more than 4,300 square feet of flexible meeting and event space. Food Servers are essential to the restaurant team's success and provide outstanding guest service, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with a smile. We want you on our team if you're committed to excellence and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Essential Job Functions:Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness.Enthusiastically take and deliver guests' food and beverage orders. Regularly revisit the table to ensure beverages are refilled and guest satisfaction is maintained.Generate checks through PMS and receive payments efficiently for each guest.Maintain daily restaurant organization, ensuring all condiments and supplies are replenished.Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages.Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all restaurant and service workstations.Physical Demands:Kneel, stoop, grasp, lift, carry, and transport 50 – 75 lbs.Work most of the shift standing and moving about in restaurants and the kitchen.Qualifications:Education:Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Experience:Minimum of 1 year of Server experience in a similar role; size of operation preferred.Alcohol Beverage server certification is preferred.Food handler certification is preferred.Spire Hospitality, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including individuals with disabilities and veterans.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
