About the Role:

As a Registered Dietitian (RD/LD) at Vivo Healthcare Wauchula, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of our residents. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized meal plans, providing nutrition education and counseling, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to meet the unique needs of each resident. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality care and improve the overall health and satisfaction of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized meal plans that meet the unique needs of each resident

• Conduct nutrition assessments and counsel residents on healthy eating habits

• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that resident needs are met

• Develop and implement nutrition education programs for residents and staff

• Monitor and report on resident nutritional progress and adjust meal plans as needed

• Stay up-to-date on the latest nutrition research and best practices

Requirements:

• Earned Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field

• Registered Dietitian (RD/LD) certification

• Experience in long-term care or similar setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Passion for delivering high-quality patient care
