Overview
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Travel) in Oswego, NY. Start date 10/19/2026 for 6 weeks. Weekly pay $2,149–$2,332 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 11:00 AM–11:00 PM (12-hour days). Setting: emergency department within a hospital-based health system.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ED, including initial assessment, triage, continuous monitoring, and timely interventions.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and procedures per physician orders; prepare patients for tests and procedures; coordinate clear patient transports as needed.
- Monitor patient status, interpret vitals, recognize deterioration, respond with appropriate emergency protocols, and escalate as required.
- Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in the medical record; communicate effectively with the ED team, physicians, and patients’ families.
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment; collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to optimize patient flow and care.

Requirements
- Current New York State RN license
- Diploma in Nursing from an accredited program
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- 1+ year ER nursing experience
- Ability to work in a busy ED, with strong communication and multitasking skills
