EMT or Paramedic (PRN)

Job Overview Medcor is looking to hire an EMT, Paramedic, or LPN on a PRN basis (as-needed) to serve as an Onsite Health Technician in our employer‑based occupational health clinic in Pueblo, CO . The clinic operates on a flexible schedule; there are no guaranteed hours. Clinic Hours Sunday – Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Thursday – Saturday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM Compensation The base pay starts at $27.00 per hour , with opportunities for additional compensation based on experience. Responsibilities The position involves collaborative work with Medcor’s medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure. Day‑to‑day duties include: Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on‑site clinic. Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees. Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses following Medcor’s Evidence‑Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols). Build and maintain internal team relationships. Support onsite employee health and wellness initiatives. Conduct pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings. Document care using EMR and other tools. Perform case management. Maintain medical charting. Typical Day Participate in daily clinic operations. Engage with employees and provide patient care for injuries and illnesses. Coordinate with external medical providers and manage workers’ compensation cases. Facilitate RTW programs and monitor treatment plans. Qualifications Valid licensure for the applied position. Current CPR/BLS certification. Strong computer and technology skills, including familiarity with EMR software. Ability to lift a 50‑lb emergency response bag. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Positive, outgoing personality with a strong work ethic. Passion for people and delivering high‑quality care. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a worksite clinic environment. Relevant occupational health experience. Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
