About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at Stocks Investments Inc, dba Golden Corral in Roxboro, NC, as a Grill Cook! In this exciting position, you will play a vital role in delivering delicious grilled meals to our valued guests while showcasing your culinary skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
• Maintain a clean and organized grill station, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to minimize waste.
• Assist in training new kitchen staff on grilling techniques and safety protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance on grill equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a grill cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional food.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as needed.
