Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you'll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
• BLS Certification
• ARDMS credential required.
• BLS (AHA) required.
• Experience with general ultrasound, OBGYN, small parts, and Dopplers for legs and arms required.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Additional schedule option: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Rotating call required two to three times Monday through Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Weekend requirement: on-call only.
• Holiday requirement: on-call only.
• On-call rotation for weekdays and weekends.
• Charting system: Epic.
• Orientation: 12 hours.
• Agency must provide radiation badge.
• Department equipment includes two GE machines and one Phillips machine.
