This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 5x8 Hours (07:00 - 15:00) with variable start times of either 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 3:00 PM. Must be willing to float to Healdsburg or Santa Rosa Memorial.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Surgical Services. The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in various surgical procedures and provide exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include assisting in surgical operations, managing patient recovery, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery by ensuring they are stable and informed.
• Assist surgeons during procedures, handling instruments and providing support as needed.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage post-operative care.
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment within the surgical department.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of Charge RN experience required.
• Valid California RN license in hand.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic.
• Experience in surgical procedures such as laparoscopic surgeries, thoracotomies, and orthopedic interventions.
