CT Technologist

Overview Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Clyde, North Carolina. Job Type: Travel, 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts (days). Responsibilities Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes Prepare and position patients, explain imaging process, and ensure patient safety Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology Provide high-quality images to Radiologists for interpretation Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment as needed Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details in the hospital system Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities Perform other duties as assigned within the CT Technologist scope of practice Required Qualifications One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT Certification Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position Summary The CT Technologist operates CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, prepares and positions patients, follows imaging protocols, and works with radiologists to obtain high-quality images. They maintain equipment, keep patient records, and follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure while providing compassionate care.
