Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field of study
- 4 years of experience taping-out designs for semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Working within a customer-facing environment.
- RTL2GDS flow
- Modern semiconductor manufacturing technologies (16nm and below).
- Cadence or Synopsys tools.
- Scripting in TCL, Python and Perl and Debugging.
- Prioritizing multiple project tasks while meeting established deadlines.
- Signoff STA (Static Timing Analysis), LVS and DRC flows of modern semiconductor manufacturing technologies (16nm and below).
- Customer interfacing experience.
- Provide application engineer support to customers and resolve challenges as they arise.
- Provide training to customers on tools and present technology.
- Provide continuous feedback to Research and Development (R&D) team to improve products.
- Responsible for executing transformation of Register Transfer Level description into final Graphic Data System (RTL2GDS) flow and tape-out designs in advanced processes using Cadence lnnovus and Synopsys ICC2 or FC.
- Use scripting skills to provide data processing using array or harsh from Synthesis or PnR tools.
- Assist in debugging by finding root causes of errors in Synthesis and PnR flow.
- Provide work around solutions with scripts or methodology.
- Provide hands-on experience with timing closure and cleaning Layout vs. Schematic (LVS) violations and Design Rule Check (DRC) violations with advance nodes that have layer coloring.
