About the Position

Location: Frisco, Texas

Schedule: Weekend rotation (every other), 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, no call requirements

Highlights:

• 6-bed NICU with an estimated 3:1 patient ratio and minimum staffing of 2 NICU RNs per shift
• 13-week assignment with brand new service line featuring state-of-the-art equipment and technology
• 24/7 in-house Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, OB hospitalist, and anesthesiologist coverage for comprehensive support
• Documentation systems include Meditech and CPN
• Family-centered care environment with collaborative team culture
• Possible floating to Newborn Nursery as needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of hospital NICU specialty experience
• Preferred: Experience with CPAP/ventilation, central lines, stabilization and delivery attendance, and developmental care
• Ability to assist with line placement, circumcision, and intubation procedures
• Adherence to professional dress code including royal blue scrubs, clean appearance, and minimal jewelry policy
