Licensed as a School Psychologist by the state Department of Education is required. A master's degree from an accredited college or university is necessary. Documentation of a clear background check report is essential. Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of the processes and regulations that govern special education. The ability to administer, interpret, and report on educational assessments and psychological assessments is required. Alternatives to the above qualifications may be considered.
