Alignerr Corp.
Video Research Expert – Robotics (AI Data Trainer)
About The Role
What if your daily chores could help build the future? We're looking for Video Research Experts to generate specialized training data that teaches robots how to navigate and perform real-world household tasks. Your recordings will directly power cutting-edge robotics models developed by leading AI research labs.
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: Flexible, with potential for recurring weekly sessions
What You'll Do
- Record first-person video footage of everyday household activities — including cleaning, laundry, and cooking — using an Android device and headset
- Capture high-quality, procedurally consistent data that meets strict research standards
- Review and provide structured feedback on other contributors' recordings to maintain dataset quality
- Follow detailed task instructions to ensure data is accurate, repeatable, and useful for model training
- Use provided or reimbursed equipment such as sensors, cameras, or specialized glasses
Who You Are
- You own an Android device and are comfortable downloading and using required apps (iOS not currently supported)
- You're willing to purchase a headset to record tasks (reimbursement provided after participation conditions are met)
- You're reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow precise procedural instructions
- You're comfortable being recorded while performing tasks and wearing research equipment
- You're open to recurring participation and contributing consistently over time
- No robotics or AI background required — just a willingness to show up and do the work carefully
Why Join Us
- Be among the first contributors to influence next-generation robotics and AI models
- Flexible, remote contract work you can fit around your life
- Join a global network of contributors working on meaningful, real-world AI research
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
- Help build a future where robots handle the chores so you don't have to
