We assist attorneys, property managers, building owners, contractors, manufacturers, and design professionals with a wide range of engineering and architectural issues. Your Role If you’re an architect who wants bigger challenges, more technical depth, and a clear runway toward becoming a recognized expert, Thornton Tomasetti is the place where that trajectory happens. As a Senior Project Director in our Forensics Practice, you’ll independently evaluate, adapt, and apply advanced architectural concepts to challenging forensic problems. You’ll influence technical direction, mentor others, and engage in client‑facing opportunities while contributing to proposals and thought leadership. What You’ll Do Handle complex forensic investigations and develop innovative solutions for repair and remediation. Prepare deliverables that communicate clearly with clients and legal teams. Proactively coordinate with engineers, contractors, consultants, and internal experts. Contribute to proposals and represent TT’s technical excellence with clients. Mentor earlier-career architects and enhance team technical capabilities. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master’s or PhD preferred. Professional licensure as an Architect is preferred; candidates actively working toward licensure will also be considered. 6+ years of architectural experience, ideally with forensic exposure. Ability to independently develop engineering approaches and troubleshoot novel challenges. Curiosity, initiative, and desire to grow into a technical leader.
