The Associate Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service and adhere to Lean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical and service goals.Location (Full-Time Onsite): 11204 Davenport Street, Suite 200, Omaha NE 68154Schedule: This is a 40-hour week, 8-hour shift schedule, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST. The schedule will be determined by the manager upon hire.Primary Responsibilities:Provide reception and clerical support in the clinic's front officeEnsure all locations are welcoming and adhere to brand guidelinesManage office supplies, facility management and upkeepSupport multiple facilities as neededSupport patient safety as part of care teamSupport facility physical safety preparedness training effortsManage site-specific initiatives including maintenance of education, adherence to policies and accreditation requirements as neededNew client registration and schedulingAssist patients with the check-in and check-out process; review each patient's chart prior to appointment and ensure consents and insurance verification are completeCollect and upload insurance cards and identificationAssist with onboarding new patients, help patient's access patient portal, prepare and confirm completion of paperwork.Ensure consents and insurance verification are completePrior authorization request management as applicableTriage patient question, complaints and concernsAnswer incoming calls and return voicemails timelyRespond to center outreach and triage incoming requests to appropriate departmentsAssist in updating and/or schedule existing patient appointments and internal referrals with providersAssist in transition of care and/or discharge procedures as applicableManage medical record requests and responses timelyManage insurance audits as applicableRespond to in-person inquiries across the center and triage appropriatelyProcess payments for co-pays, deductibles, self-pay, etc.Collect patient balances including co-insurance post adjudicationEnsure patient inquiries are addressed quickly; including resolving patient insurance eligibility issuesMonitor clinician/admin/OBC inbox and respond accordingly within established guidelines.Secure patient information and maintain patient confidentialityAbility to assist with organizing and cleaning officePerforms other duties as assignedWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 - $29 per hour based on full-time employment.
