As a member of the New Revenue Team, you will collaborate closely with a team of engineers, product managers, and marketers to rapidly prototype, develop, test, and launch brand-new business concepts.This role goes beyond optimization—it’s about creating entirely new growth levers, customer experiences, and offerings that push the boundaries of what Docusign can do. You will be responsible for taking software from ideation to deployment, often venturing into uncharted territory, developing brand-new solutions and iterating based on real-world learnings. You'll thrive by thinking outside the box, understanding the business case for your projects, and setting the pace and breadth for engineers across the company.This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering.ResponsibilityDeliver product features and technology improvements as part of a passionate agile development team working on a high impact roadmapWrite high quality code in JavaScript, Typescript, and ReactCreate secure, efficient backend services in Typescript/Javascript, C#, or other object-oriented programming languagesWrite and maintain unit and functional tests for every featureRaise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitmentsWork cooperatively with product management and design to create features that satisfy user needs with simplicity, consistency and robustnessIdentify, propose, and implement process improvements to continuously increase the team's productivity and efficiencyStay current with the latest development best practices and share your findings with the teamParticipate in Agile environments using Scrum software development practices, automated unit testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and version control systems (Git)Job DesignationHybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Docusign reserves the right to change a position's job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.What you bringBasicB.S. / M.S. in Computer Science or similar field of study8+ years of professional experience in Fullstack software development applying both frontend and backend technologies, like React, Typescript, C#, Java, or similar OOP4+ years of professional experience in designing backend APIs using frameworks and patterns like REST, GraphQL, etc.3+ years of hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)Experience with service reliability and incident response standard methodologiesPreferredExperience with Microsoft technology stack (e.g., C#, .NET, ASP.NET)Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWSExperience with SQL databases (e.g., Azure SQL Database, SQL Server) and NoSQL solutions (e.g., Cosmos DB)Experience in taking launching “zero to one” products in a fast paced environmentExperience with experimentation and A/B testing platformsUnderstanding of web application design principles such as usability, performance, and securityExcellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detailNatural aptitude for both teaching and learning from others in a collaborative team environmentWage TransparencyPay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:California: $164,700.00 - $266,000.00 base salaryWashington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $158,300.00 - $232,575.00 base salaryThis role is also eligible for the following:Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals.
