CDL Driver

Job Position: Class A or B CDL Delivery Driver

Location: Ridgeland, SC 29936

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 Depending on Experience

Shift: Mon - Fri (7am to 5pm)

Coastal Employment is actively recruiting experienced CDL Drivers for one of our valued clients in Okatie, SC-and this is an opportunity you do not want to miss!

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A or CDL Class B Driver with flatbed and/or boom truck experience to join a growing team. This position plays a critical role in delivering building materials safely, efficiently, and professionally to contractors, job sites, and customers throughout the region.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Safely operate CDL Class A or B vehicles , including flatbed and/or boom trucks
• Deliver building and construction materials to residential and commercial job sites
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials while ensuring product quality and safe handling
• Operate boom equipment when applicable to place materials accurately and efficiently
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Verify delivery orders and ensure materials are accurate before departure
• Maintain delivery schedules and communicate professionally with customers and job site personnel
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, company procedures, and safety guidelines
• Assist with securing loads and supporting warehouse operations as needed

What We're Looking For:

Valid CDL Class A or Class B License
Previous flatbed and/or boom truck experience strongly preferred
Clean driving record and commitment to safe operation
Experience delivering construction or building materials is a plus
Ability to work independently while delivering exceptional customer service
Strong communication and time management skills
Forklift experience is a plus
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented mindset

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50+ pounds as needed
Frequent climbing in and out of trucks and navigating job sites
☀ Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to bend, reach, secure loads, and remain active throughout the day
