Grand Appliance is hiring for a full-time Inventory Associate, who will be responsible for working with vendors to coordinate returns, participate in weekly cycle counts, work cross-functionally with departments such as sales, service, and product management to move excess, obsolete, and uncrated products.  This position is located at our Sturtevant, WI warehouse and is a full-time role with a schedule of Monday through Friday, typically from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.  On days with cycle counts, those hours are 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.  There are also alternating Saturdays every other week, with one day off during the week when working Saturday.

• Verifies the accuracy of receipts, transfer, etc., by conducting detail audits of the product inventory on a regular basis
• Constantly monitors the movement of the inventory and identifies if there are any shortages that are seen when compared with the physical inventory data
• Performs physical count of inventory
• Safely lift, carry, push, pull, and maneuver merchandise of varying sizes and weights using proper equipment and safety procedures
• Manage products through the vendor return and/or clearance process, ensuring items are properly labeled and documented
• Maintain accurate records of open-box inventory status, product condition, and disposition steps
• Keep open-box, clearance, and vendor return areas clean, organized, and clearly identified.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Professional communication skills and excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Highly proficient in the MS Office Suite with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work under pressure or deadlines and handle multiple priorities
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in an appropriate manner
• Professional appearance and courteous manner
• Attention to detail
• Within established guidelines makes independent decisions regarding planning, organizing and scheduling own work
