Job Overview:
The Roofing Project Estimator prepares accurate cost estimates and competitive proposals for commercial and multifamily roofing projects. This role reviews project plans, performs quantity take-offs, collaborates with project teams and vendors, and ensures bids are accurate, profitable, and submitted on time.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates and competitive bids for commercial and multifamily roofing projects.
- Perform material take-offs and labor cost analysis.
- Prepare project budgets, proposals, and bid packages.
- Identify project risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving solutions.
- Maintain accurate estimating records, pricing databases, and bid documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience estimating commercial and/or multifamily roofing projects.
- Experience performing quantity take-offs and preparing project estimates.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple bids and meet strict deadlines
