Commercial Drywall (division 9) Project Manager/Estimator

Drywall Estimator / Project Manager Location: Greater Atlanta Area Industry: Commercial Construction (Drywall, Metal Framing, Acoustical Ceilings) About the Company: In business for over 12 years , with a strong reputation across the Southeast Specializes in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, specialty systems, and mission-critical systems Project sizes range from $200K to $22 million Diverse portfolio includes: Schools Office buildings Data centers Stadiums Churches Medical centers Financially stable with steady growth and repeat business Position Overview: The Estimator / Project Manager will be responsible for both preconstruction estimating and day-to-day project management once jobs are awarded. This role requires strong technical knowledge of drywall systems and the ability to lead projects from concept through completion. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing using OST and Quick Bid Manage awarded projects including scheduling, budgeting, material procurement, and subcontractor coordination Communicate with clients, architects, general contractors, and field personnel to ensure smooth project delivery Maintain accurate and organized project documentation Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and profitability Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in commercial drywall estimating and/or project management Proficient with OST (On-Screen Takeoff) and Quick Bid software Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and industry standards Proven ability to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Compensation & Benefits: Very competitive salary (commensurate with experience) Full benefits package Long-term career growth potential Opportunity to work with a stable and respected company on high-profile projects Equal Employment Opportunity: This employer is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
