Position: Machine Operator Forging - First Shift Location: Columbus, OH Job Id: 272-2026 # of Openings: 1 Machine Operator Forging - First Shift Walor North America is looking for a Machine Operator to join its Billet Prep team. In this role, you will be responsible for improving the quality of product and press efficiency for our Columbus, Ohio facility. This position will work 7:00am - 3:15pm, Monday through Friday. What you will do Operation of machine and secondary equipment, including feeding material manually Loading of steel into sawing equipment as required using overhead crane Material handling with a forklift Support department personnel and tasks Measuring/Documenting of product produced to ensure quality standards Performing required operator level maintenance tasks Sorting non-conforming product (as required) Cleaning equipment and surrounding areas Special projects as determined by area manager/supervisor/team lead Adherence to 5S principles Reporting/Documenting equipment related maintenance issues to supervisor/maintenance department Supply maintenance request documentation for breakdowns Fulfilling thoroughly all tasks within the scope of defined qualifications and responsibilities Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information Adherence to all written and verbal directives of the manager/supervisor/team lead Adherence to Stop, Call, Wait protocol Other duties as assigned by supervisor What you will bring High School Diploma or GED Print reading Basic math skills What is in it for you?
