Pay Range and Shift Differentials $48.23 – $71.86 per hour. This position is within the OFNHP bargaining unit. Shift differentials: Evening $2.50/hr; Weekend $4/hr; Night starts at $10/hr. Job Summary The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist serves the needs of patients by performing radiological exams, conducting CT imaging and image reconstruction, and working under the supervision of a radiologist and the CT/Radiology Coordinator. Essential Functions and Duties Perform radiology and CT diagnostic and interventional examinations in accordance with department policies, procedures, and protocols. Follow Health and Safety Policies and Procedures of Quality Care. Assist in record maintenance and statistics as requested. Participate in student training program as requested. Provide coverage for CT within St. Charles Health System including on‑call, holiday, and weekend relief as needed. Operate the Computed Tomography (CT) STAT RAD System. Prepare for sterile and non‑sterile procedures and maintain a sterile field. Conduct all necessary preparations of the patient procedure room and document when appropriate. Support the vision, mission, and values of the organization and Lean principles of continuous improvement. Maintain a safe environment for caregivers, patients, and guests. Conduct all activities with the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures; report known or suspected violations. Use AIDET to prepare patients for procedures and enhance communication. Deliver patient service that promotes goodwill, timeliness, efficiency, and accuracy. May perform additional duties of similar complexity within the organization as required or assigned. Education Required: High school diploma or GED. Graduate of a certified radiologic technology training program. Preferred: Basic and advanced seminars in computerized tomography. Licensure / Certification / Registration Required: Current Oregon Broad of Medical Imaging license (OBMI); ARRT credential in Radiologic Technology (RT) and Computed Tomography (CT). Preferred: ARRT credentials in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Bone Densitometry (BD), Mammography (MAM), Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV), or Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI). Experience Required: Cross‑sectional imaging experience. Preferred: Two (2) years in diagnostic radiography and one (1) year as a CT Technologist. Personal Protective Equipment Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) required for safe job performance. Physical Requirements Continually (≥75%): Standing and walking, keyboard operation, clear audible speaking voice, hearing normal speech level. Frequently (50%): Sitting, lifting/carrying/pushing or pulling 1–25 pounds. Occasionally (25%): Bending, stooping/kneeling/crouching, climbing ladder/step stools, reaching overhead, lifting/carrying/pushing or pulling 25–50 pounds, grasping/squeezing, hearing whispered speech level. Rarely (10%): Climbing stairs. Never (0%): Climbing ladder/step stools related to medication orders, operating a motor vehicle (specific to home health and wound caregivers). Exposure to elemental factors: Rarely (10%) wet/slippery area, chemical solution; Never (0%) heat, cold, noise, dust, vibration, uneven surface. Compensation and Union This position is within the OFNHP bargaining unit and subject to union membership terms in the collective bargaining agreement. Schedule and Hours Schedule: Weekly hours 40.
