We are looking for Patient Engagement Specialists to play an important role at AndHealth. This is an onsite position located at our Health Center partner site in Indianapolis, IN./ppWhat youll do in the role:/pulliPrescription Processing: Accurately input patient data, insurance information, and prescriptions into the pharmacy management system./liliFulfillment: Count, pour, and label medications efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols./liliCustomer Experience: Support patients at the pickup counter, resolving insurance rejections, and providing clear communication regarding medication status./liliInventory Management: Execute stocking, cycle counts, and managing outdated inventory./liliPrior Authorization Coordination: Collaborate with the pharmacist to gather clinical documentation and submitting prior authorizations for medication including high-cost specialty drugs if needed./liliPatient Advocacy: Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and manufacturers to help patients access financial assistance programs or copay cards./liliAdherence Monitoring: Conduct outreach calls to specialty patients to schedule refills and ensure they are following their prescribed therapy./liliCold Chain Management: Ensure proper handling and storage of temperature-sensitive biologics and specialty injectables./liliOther: Maintain flexibility to provide on-site support or cross-site remote assistance, ensuring operational continuity as business needs evolve./liliSupport other projects based on business needs./li/ulpEducation Licensure Requirements:/pulliHigh School Diploma required./liliBachelors degree is preferred./liliCertified or Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of IN required./liliNationally certified - PTCB or ExCPT required or obtained within 6 months of hire./liliMust be willing to obtain and maintain licenses or certifications in multiple states./li/ulpOther Skills or Qualifications:/pulli3+ years of pharmacy experience is preferred./liliExcellent written and oral communication skills./liliStrong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple things simultaneously./liliComfortable with technology and the ability to adapt to new systems./liliThe position may require some travel.
