Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social science, human science, education, health science, or behavior science and a minimum of two years’ experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and/or mental health disorders. Substitution of Education for Experience: Master’s degree in one of the aforementioned fields can substitute for the required experience on a year‑for‑year basis, up to a maximum of one year. Substitution of Internship for Experience: Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned fields and successful completion of an internship within the Department of Disability and Aging. Necessary Special Qualifications Valid driver’s license for the duration of employment. Approved background check completion. Within 1 year of hire, obtain and maintain START certification. Overview Under general supervision, this classification is responsible for facilitating crisis stabilization support and services for assigned caseloads within specified regions. Employees will collect data, conduct consultations, set up intervention services, and provide training to clients. Responsibilities Provide on‑site and/or remote consultation and intervention services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as needed. Conduct individualized assessments for assigned referrals, gathering and reviewing records and interviewing informants. Collect client information and records to organize necessary internal program reports, facilitating the development of individualized crisis stabilization plans for assigned caseloads. Coordinate external partnerships for assigned individuals, including third‑party agencies and organizations. Provide appropriate training for caregivers and/or external partnership entities when necessary. Maintain industry knowledge to perform interventions and trainings appropriately. Act as liaison and advocate for the client, overseeing the total client experience during service enrollment. Facilitate meetings among key stakeholders and team members to identify emerging client needs and adjust individualized plans. Provide 24/7/365 on‑call services, including nights and weekends on a rotating schedule.
