Due to dynamic market growth, WSP in Poland is looking for experts for our Infrastructure department. Currently, we are looking for individuals for the position of Bridge Engineer.

In this role, you will join a multidisciplinary team that reflects our company's core values: solidarity, passion for delivering complex projects on a large scale, and innovation and friendliness.

Your New Role, What Will You Do?

MAIN DUTIES:

• Bridge project work, calculations, and 3D modeling.
• Analysis of technical solutions and materials for technology and construction method selection.
• Verification and optimization of design solutions, preparation of project drafts.
• Ensuring timely project completion: participation in the preparation and adherence to project work schedules.
• Communication with designers, subcontractors, and other departments to coordinate work.
• Effectively delivering industry projects to the Project Leader and ensuring they are executed on time and according to client requirements and project leader guidelines.
• Coordinating prepared projects with other technical teams.
• Actively participating in client communication and meeting client project requirements.

Team

The WSP bridge team creates professional design solutions related to new and revitalized structures. We have experience in all aspects of bridge engineering. We actively participate in every stage of the project process for infrastructure investments of various scales, from concept through construction, execution, to author supervision on site.

We perform technical audits of existing facilities and reinforcement projects. Our specialty is cost optimization.

We use the latest design tools, such as 3D FEM analysis using various programs (SOFiSTiK, Robot Structural Analysis, BRIGADE, and Mathcad) for calculations, and Tekla and Revit for BIM modeling. Our team members have international experience from projects in Sweden, Finland, England, Germany, and the Middle East.

The Infrastructure and Construction department is managed by the Director of the Infrastructure department. The team currently consists of about 40 people, including engineers and BIM coordinators.

What Would It Be Like If This Was You?

REQUIREMENTS:

• Higher technical education in Civil Engineering, specializing in Bridges.
• Experience in infrastructure design (bridges).
• Knowledge of Polish Building Law, Norms, and Standards in your field.
• Ability to solve technical problems.
• Fluency in English at a communicative level.
• Proficiency in engineering software: AutoCAD and other CAD programs. Familiarity with Revit, Tekla, and Sofistik is welcome.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
