Processing Worker/Production WorkerThe Processing Worker is responsible for handling materials and following procedures to de-package and prepare products according to Company standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety throughout the production process.Key Responsibilities:Understand, uphold, and abide by the Company's vision, mission and core values.Maintain strict adherence to all Company policies, processes and procedures in accordance with the Employee Manual, the Safety Manual, Department Manual(s), and the Animal Food Safety Plan.Show up to work on time, as scheduled.Follow verbal and written work instructions and production guidelines.Don appropriate PPE, including Safety Shoes, while in the plant.Clean containers and machines to prepare products for processing, storage or shipment.Unload food waste products (weighing up to 40 pounds) for extended periods of time and manage equipment to organize the product for further processing.Ensure product is delivered to appropriate storage and packaging waste generated from the de-packaging is baled or collected for follow-up actions.Prepare semi-trailers for return to customer site.Maintain clean and orderly job sites.
