Job Description

The Folding Window and Door Installer plays a key role in residential and commercial projects by ensuring the precise installation of folding windows and doors. Working as part of a small team, the Installer travels regularly between job sites and utilizes a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to deliver high-quality results. This position demands strong carpentry skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install folding windows and doors in residential and commercial properties
• Measure and cut materials accurately to specifications
• Prepare job sites for installation ensuring a safe and efficient workspace
• Fit hardware and apply sealing and insulation to enhance performance
• Maintain safety compliance throughout all installation tasks
• Inspect finished installations for quality and functionality
• Interact professionally with customers to address questions and provide updates
• Perform general carpentry duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in window and door installation
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in window and door installation techniques
• Skilled in carpentry, measuring, and cutting materials
• Experienced with hand and power tools
• Strong understanding of safety compliance standards
• Physical stamina for travel and manual labor
• Effective communication and attention to detail
